Dr Sahil Patel was educated at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School, Elstree, and subsequently qualified from the University of Bristol.
After enjoying a year in dental foundation training in Wadebridge, Cornwall, he returned to London to embark on an intense period of learning within aesthetic dentistry. This involved undertaking postgraduate courses in restorative dentistry, implant restoration and soft tissue control. He has since established himself as a leader in London's cosmetic dentistry hub, and his experience has included creating the smiles of dentists, doctors, Members of Parliament, UK Special Forces and professional athletes.
Sahil operates as a principal in his cosmetic dental clinic -Marylebone Smile Clinic - in the Harley Street Medical District in London. The clinic's focus is on cosmetic dentistry, specifically porcelain/ceramic veneers, tooth contouring, gum lifts, composite bonding, alignment, implants and complex cases often on referral from local dentists. He is an active member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, a product consultant for 3M Oral Care, and recently founded his teaching platform, Restorative Interface. Sahil has now been Accredited by the BACD in recognition of working at consistently high standards.
Outside of dentistry, serves as a Sports Officer in the Royal Navy Reserves, leading to proficiency in scuba diving, skydiving, ski instruction and triathlon. More recently, he tried his hand at high-altitude mountaineering, including peaks from Mt Blanc to Mt Manaslu at 8163m and Vinson Massif, Antarctica.
