Professional Biography

After qualifying I was awarded the LDI Conservative Dentistry Prize nn2006 in Leeds and was nominated for the Yorkshire Evening Post Dentist of the Year Award 2007. nnnnAfter leaving leeds in 2007, I returned to Bury to start my own patient base at the Tottington Dental Surgery with my father, the principle of both Tottington and Ramsbottom Dental Surgeries.nn nnSince then, whilst gaining knowledge in years of postgraduate study, I transferred to Ramsbottom early in 2009. Late 2011 I was made partner and have taken on further responsibilities with management of the practice.nnnnI have since been working with a friendly team in the town i grew up in.nnI love Ramsbottom, with its fabulous surroundings, friendly townsfolk and excellent shops and restaurants.nnnnI aspire to pursue excellence through continued education for a lifetime of learning in the dental field, which ensures our practice is up to date with the very latest technologies and techniques.nnnnI completed a year's Implant Certificate with Professor Ucer in 2011 and in 2013, I completed my MSc in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry with Manchester University. I was awarded the highest mark of Distinction.nnnnI hope to continue my education further and one day become a practice based restorative specialist.
