Dental veneers are an increasingly popular procedure; veneers are ultra-thin, custom-made laminates that are fixed directly to the teeth. They are a great option for closing gaps, disguising minor crooked or rotated teeth, covering up discolored or damaged teeth and restoring worn teeth.
Veneers are wafer-thin laminates or shells of tooth-coloured material (which can be either porcelain, ceramic or composite bonding material). They are bonded to the front surface of teeth to improve their cosmetic appearance.
Veneers have a long lifespan, providing they are well looked after, they can last between 10 and 15 years.
