Treatment overview

The dental implant is made of titanium and is used as an artificial root to support a crown, normally after an initial phase of healing. Implants are now also commonly used to attach a denture in the mouth, ensuring retention and stability of the denture.

Who can benefit from Dental Implants?

Implants offer a permanent solution to missing teeth, thus making them an incredibly popular treatment.

Patients will need to be assessed for treatment to ensure that they have no medical conditions that are contraindications to dental implant placement, however should there be no problems to prevent treatment, implants could last a lifetime.

Treatment length: 1 day – 6 months depending on treatment and healing

Available: From implant dentists, implant surgeons
