Sascha Hein, MDT, PhD
Dr Hein graduated in Dental Technology in 1997 in Munich, Germany, and completed advanced training in dental ceramics under Masahiro Kuwata in Tokyo in 2001. He earned his Master’s degree in Freiburg in 2005 and was inducted into the Oral Design group in 2007, followed by the Bio-Emulation group in 2012, where he served as president from 2014 to 2016. Dr Hein completed his PhD at the University of Leeds School of Design under Professor Stephen Westland. His thesis was awarded a distinction for research excellence.
