Dr Sahil Patel is the one the UK’s preeminent experts in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. He is the principal dentist in a referral practice based in London’s Harley Street Medical District. He and his team provide customised solutions from simple to complex rehabilitation, particularly those involving tooth wear, periodontally compromised dentitions, tooth replacement and complications from dental tourism.
Sahil was educated at Bristol Dental Hospital, and has since undertaken comprehensive training in areas of gnathology, occlusion, composite resin, ceramics and implant prosthodontics via teachers from the USA, Switzerland and Germany. He has established himself as a leader in restorative dentistry in the UK, and his experience has led to being trusted to treat specialist dentists, doctors, TV personalities, Members of Parliament, UK Special Forces and professional athletes.
His work has been recognised by the dental profession through winning awards from the British Society for Restorative Dentistry, and being Accredited by the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Sahil is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, a European product consultant for 3M Oral Care, and founded his teaching platform, Restorative Interface.
Aside from dentistry, Sahil serves in the Royal Naval Reserves, and recently tried his hand at high-altitude mountaineering, including the peaks; Mt Blanc, Mt Manaslu at 8163m and Vinson Massif, Antarctica
