Dr Mark Bowes runs a private Practice in Cape Town which is limited to Aesthetic and Complex Restorative Dentistry. Whilst practicing in London for 23 years, he was a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. Mark has been a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists since 1997. In 2005, he moved to Cape Town and has been in Private Practice which is limited to Aesthetic Dentistry. In 2010 he founded the South African Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry for which he is now Past President. He was the Congress President for the World International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry (IFED) held in Cape Town in 2015, this meeting was one of the most successful International meetings ever held in South Africa. He is the member and registered speaker for the ITI. He has lectured extensively in Southern Africa and internationally, on all aspects of Aesthetic Dentistry and runs Restorative courses with the respected Implant Aesthetic Academy in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Mark has pioneered the development of Digital Smile Design in South Africa, this concept allows dentists to develop the smile which fits the individual patients Aesthetic and Functional needs while providing Minimally Invasive Dentistry.
