Dr Annika Patel is a highly accomplished and GDC registered Specialist Orthodontist, known for her expertise and commitment to providing exceptional orthodontic care. She obtained her training and qualification from the prestigious King’s College and Guy’s Hospital in London, where she developed a strong foundation in dentistry.
Driven by her passion for learning and her dedication to comprehensive patient care, she pursued further training in maxillofacial and oral surgery, as well as paediatric dentistry. These additional qualifications equipped her with a broad understanding of various aspects of dental health, enabling her to offer multidisciplinary care to both children and adults.
Dr Annika’s specialist training in Orthodontics took place at Guy’s Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. This comprehensive training allowed her to gain extensive experience in treating patients of all ages, requiring a wide range of orthodontic interventions. Her expertise lies not only in traditional orthodontic methods but also in invisible and comfortable teeth straightening techniques. She is renowned for her proficiency in offering a variety of treatment options, including conventional metal and clear fixed braces, as well as lingual braces.
Dr Patel is known for her sharing of knowledge and passion, teaching and mentoring general dentists on a number of orthodontic diplomas in the UK.
Her goal is to empower and share her passion for her field to her peers, recently speaking on the main stage at both the British Orthodontic Conference and at the annual Association of Dental Implantology Conference, sharing her expertise in complex multidisciplinary management of cases.
