Dr Sam Shah studied dentistry at the world-renowned Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Dental Institute in London, and graduated in 2004.
He has been honoured with the prestigious joint memberships of both the dental faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2006.
Sam is the owner and clinical lead at The Newmarket Road Dental Clinic -Norwich’s first exclusively private, cosmetically orientated dental clinic, which he opened in 2008.
Since then, he has developed a special interest in cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry, with an emphasis on smile design. He has successfully completed numerous postgraduate courses including the yearlong programme on Cosmetic Dentistry mentored by the founding president of the BACD, Chris Orr.
Sam has attained gold certification as an Invisalign practitioner, providing invisible braces for adults. In addition, he is a certified practitioner with “ClearSmile Brace” and “Six Month Smiles” for fixed appliance orthodontics.
He is a proponent of minimally invasive dentistry, utilising his skills in orthodontics and composite bonding to create smile transformations in as conservative fashion as possible. Equally, Sam also has the skills and experience in advanced prosthetic and restorative dentistry to perform full mouth reconstruction.
