Professional Biography

Richard Coates BDS(UNcle) Pg Dip CID
Qualified in December 1992, Richard has worked in both fully NHS practices in his early career, followed by mixed practice and now works in a fully private practice. He has worked full time as a private dentist for several years, and devotes a large part of his day to ethical cosmetic practice and general practice involving full mouth rehabilitation cases. He also has a special interest in endodontics. More recently he has attained a post graduate diploma in clinical implant dentistry and regularly attends international implant conferences. He is also a multiple Aesthetic dentistry award winner.
Richard is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has started the Academy Accreditation process having recently passed the written accreditation examination . He has also started the BACD accreditation process. He attends conferences across the states in order to keep abreast of the newest innovations in dentistry. As Chairman of NEPD, he is committed to the quality that can be achieved through private (life changing) dentistry and is keen to help support like-minded colleagues through the organisation. He is committed to continuing the provision of post graduate advanced course with world class speakers and growing the organisation for the next generation of dentists.
