Oliver Guy graduated in 2001 from Bristol University and went on to do his vocational training through the University of Oxford. He gained experience working in a busy NHS practice in Faringdon and a private practice in Fairford, before becoming a partner at Market Place Dental Practice in 2004.
Oliver is a general dental practioner, providing family dental care as well as more advanced cosmetic work. He is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has particular interest in tooth whitening and replacing broken and missing teeth with natural looking crown and bridge-work and dentures. He recently completed an advanced course on occlusion, concentrating on full mouth rehabilition and the management of jaw problems.
Oliver is enthusiastic about new technologies and works with a soft tissue laser as well as providing clear braces. He provides dental implant prosthetic work to both replace missing teeth and to better retain dentures. Oliver is also a Preferred Provider for Tricare (US military).
Oliver appreciates that many patients are nervous about dental work and he tries to provide a sympathetic environment for care, including music and a flat screen DVD player for the patient's enjoyment. He has a young family and, when time allows, enjoys playing golf and gardening.
