Treatment overview
In the last decade denture materials have progressed to ensure that they look, function and feel like natural teeth. Dentures are a less costly solution for missing teeth than full mouth dental implants, although they will not be as stable as a fixed solution like a fixed bridge or implants. If there are problems with the stability of dentures then using dental implants to improve retention may give a better outcome.
Dentures do not need to be the plastic blocks that were made by dentist’s years ago. BACD Member dentists are able to achieve comfortable, functional dentures whilst still applying the principles of ideal smile design they use in their day to day practice.
