This training is dedicated to CAD/CAM dentistry and smile makeovers. The programme has been created in an "A to Z" style, which means that participants will be guided through the whole sequence of aesthetic rehabilitation from case planning to the bonding of veneers and crowns.

  • Silicone index for guided preparation
  • Rubber dam / Split dam technique before preparation
  • Microscope driven preparation 
  • Analysis of preparation by CEREC software tools 
  • IDS – Immediate Dentin Sealing 
  • Scanning techniques / Tips &Tricks
  • Designing by Biocopy- Biogeneric Copy mode
  • Milling algorithms differences for MCXL and MCX5 
  • Function - Functional movement - Occlusal Compass, setting up the CEREC / InLab virtual articulator
  • Rubberdamology – advanced rubber dam techniques for multiple restorations 
  • Finishing and polishing techniques of milled restorations
  • Optical Illusions / Stain and Glaze Technique
  • Bonding / Fundamental procedures for indirect bonded restorations (Pre-heated composite luting process / Resin Composite bonding process)

Daniel Dunka

Daniel Dunka is an accomplished dental technician and a Sirona certified inLab Trainer, Educator and Beta tester. Daniel is a young, driven and innovative tech with a wide spectrum of experience in the dental field having also worked abroad including the USA and several other countries in Europe. His main focus for the past 6 years has been the aesthetic design in the anterior region using the inLab SW from DentsplySirona. He has also recently started focusing on the design of All on 4/6 implant super.

Continuing Professional Development

The annual conference qualifies for 6 (six) hours of CPD per day attended


Attending BACD Annual Conferences does not necessarily qualify you to integrate new techniques into your practice. The BACD expects delegates to rely on their clinical expertise and judgement before deciding whether they have received adequate training to implement any new technique or procedure in their practices and to seek additional training if necessary
