Face of the future: full arch rehabilitation - where art and science collide!!

The full arch rehabilitation of the maxilla has been a controversial area of discourse for
many years and still continues to be so with clinicians debating all aspects of care from the
number of implants used, to how they should be connected and restored.

This lecture overviews the implant techniques available to us and develops ideas on the
restoration of the full arch in the maxilla with special note to Immediate implant dentistry.
It discusses the rationales for their application and examines new ideas and options
available to the implant dentist.

Aims & Objectives:
  • To examine the needs of the patient requiring a full arch maxillary restoration
  • To discuss the treatment options available to the clinician for full arch rehabilitation
  • To discuss the management of the patient’s expectations within the rehabilitation process
  • To examine the full arch patient journey both on the surgical, technical and restorative side
  • To seek to understand the multi-disciplinary team approach that is necessary in order to serve the full arch patient, in all the phases of rehabilitation
