If you are interested in achieving BACD Accreditation, this workshop will explain the process from start to finish.
We will discuss the required case types and required photographic views for case submissions as well as the submission process itself. Examples of successful and unsuccessful cases will be shown so that participants will gain an insight into good case selection as well as the clinical skills required.
Delegates are encouraged to bring along their own prospective accreditation cases for the group to discuss (clinical photographs, pre-loaded into the Accreditation template – available on the BACD website – on a memory stick please). The cases will not be treatment planned for the delegate but potential pitfalls of the cases will be highlighted. As many cases as possible will be discussed within the allotted workshop time.
This workshop is intended to clarify exactly what is required for accreditation and to choose appropriate cases for each case type.
