How Technology Boosts Biology: Aesthetic Zone Management In Implant Dentistry

How Technology Boosts Biology: Aesthetic Zone Management In Implant Dentistry

Managing the aesthetic zone in dentistry is always a quite demanding procedure, due to the impact
on patients’ appearance and the high expectations they have on the treatment outcome.
This becomes even more challenging if the treatment includes replacement of missing teeth with
dental implants and regeneration of hard and soft tissue.

Although technology is developing fast and increasing its features and accuracy there are still some
inevitable biological limits.

The combination of perio-prostho knowledge with technological skills is nowadays the new “gold
standard" in order to achieve a more predictable and invisible transition zone of our implant supported

During this lecture it will be enhanced how technology such as, IOS, micro surgical approach and
guided surgery could help us boost biology and control our outcomes.
